I loved this place. Drove all the way from La Vernia TX just to try the food. Vegan authentic Mexican food? No Tex Mex here. I'm in. Worth the drive. I'm not just saying that either. This place did not disappoint. We had the taco plate, flauta plate, and the norteno nachos. And a bunch of goodies from the bakery. I'm just glad that it is not only family owned, not only owned and operated by Mexicans, it's all vegan! Like genius. You don't see any other restaurants in Texas that are authentic Mexican and vegan. Maybe Tex Mex but it isn't the same. All the food reminded me of my culture growing up. It gets pretty packed. Which is amazing to me. I didn't mind the wait. I've waitressed for 2 regular mexcan restaurants and I know fresh food takes time. Especially on busy days. The line moved as quickly as it could and the food came out as quickly as it could. It was all good. It's definitely a self serve type place. It's not too big but the space is utilized well. You stand in line and place your order. Wait for your name to be called and pick up your order. Because of this customer service is limited. It runs smooth as to be expected for a small place that is booming. There is just nothing negative I can say. I LOVED it. My kids loved it. My husband was in vegan heaven. We're foodies. We love food.
